|Two newly enacted measures that Rep. Miro supported will expand an aspect of Delaware's medical marijuana law to provide additional help for juveniles.
Under House Bill 400 (as amended), Delaware minors experiencing pain, depression, or anxiety associated with a terminal illness can be treated with medical marijuana oils. Also known as 'Bob's Bill,' the new law will take effect November 30th. School nurses, employees, and contractors are precluded from acting as caregivers unless they are also a parent or guardian of the child receiving the substance.
